"BPJS Kesehatan participants who seek treatment at the Kembangan Health Center register online thus they do not need to queue and can make a schedule for treatment," she expressed, Monday (4/11).

She admitted the online queuing system was very effective in shortening the waiting time for patients seeking treatment.

"Likewise, patients who are referred from the Kembangan Health Center to RSUD or private hospital for advanced health care are also registered through the online queue system," she added.

West Jakarta BPJS Head Nurlaila Pulukadang uttered she continues to innovate through the implementation of an online queuing system to improve the quality of health services.

"As the initial step, the system is implemented in all health centers or clinics spread across eight sub-districts throughout West Jakarta in 2021," she stated.

The same system has also been implemented in regional public hospitals and private hospitals, as well as main clinics which are effective since April 1.

"Overall, around 21 hospitals and two clinics have implemented the system for referral health services from the health center," she explained.

She added it was able to shorten the service from the time the patient came to pick up the medicine at the pharmacy counter.

"Patient waiting time can be cut by up to 2.5 hours for one type of health examination service at the hospital. That's why we continue to promote it massively to the public," she closed.
